The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
November 25, 2012 AM | Don Horban
In this first of a series of studies dealing with the Holy Spirit, we will consider the work of the Holy Spirit prior to the birth of Christ. The Old Testament is abundant in its references to the early work of the Spirit of God. What you will see in these early texts is a relatively undeveloped pneumatology, or theology of the Holy Spirit, His activity is stressed in these passages (sometimes almost impersonally) rather than His person. The doctrine of the Holy Spirit will be developed with New Testament revelation.
